Maddie Kinghorn
Maddie began dancing at the age of 3 at Steps Dance Centre in Trail BC where she danced on the competitive team training in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acro. After an injury led her to step away from Concordia, she rediscovered her love for dance through teaching and choreography. For the past four years, Maddie has taught and choreographed across British Columbia, specializing in Contemporary, Tap, Acro, Creative Dance, and Improvisation techniques. Now a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, Maddie is particularly passionate about the strength and fitness of dancers and helping them develop as both artists and athletes. She continues to take classes whenever possible and is dedicated to honing her teaching skills, refining her creative process, and developing innovative choreography. Maddie aims to inspire the students at Performa with her deep love for dance, instilling in them the same passion and dedication that has driven her throughout her career.
